Blender Bulgogi

Almost no chopping or dicing required, let the blender do the work! Minimal effort with a huge payout, try it yourself this weekend. We’d love to see your take on it!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 whole scallion so

  • 1 scallions thinly sliced

  • 1.5 lbs ribeye beef thinly sliced

  • 1/2 white onion

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 Korean pear or apple

  • 1/4c soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

  • Put everything into the blender, except for meat and sliced scallion

  • Blend until smooth. Pour sauce onto meat, toss and marinate for 20+ minutes

  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add meat and all the marinade juices. Simmer on medium heat. Stir occasionally

  • The color will start to darken. Simmer until sauce has almost fully reduced and meat has a deep brown color

  • Remove from heat garnish with sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds

  • Serve with rice and kimchi
