Lemon Pepper Shrimp
So simple and quick to make! This dish is super crunchy with a light citrus kick. Pair it with the garlic noodle recipe for a complete meal
INGREDIENTS
Salt
Black pepper
3/4 cup oil for frying
1.5-2 lbs raw, headless, deveined, shell on, tail on shrimps
1 cup corn starch
1 lemon cut into wedges
DIRECTIONS
Lightly salt the shrimp
Coat shrimp in cornstarch
Heat oil in a wide pan for shallow frying. Med high heat
Fry shrimp 90 seconds each side
Place shrimp on a wire rack and lightly salt and pepper
Plate all the shrimp and squeeze 1 wedge of lemon juice before serving
This recipe only works with shell-on shrimp, to achieve the crunchy texture. The shrimp is meant to be eaten unpeeled, tail and all!
